Beginning

What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?[i]

Begin with the end in mind.[ii] A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.[iii] You can learn new things at any time in your life if you're willing to be a beginner. If you actually learn to like being a beginner, the whole world opens up to you.[iv]

Winning starts with beginning.[v] Each player must accept the cards life deals him or her: but once they are in hand, he or she alone must decide how to play the cards in order to win the game.[vi] Winners do not do different things, but do things differently.[vii]

It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning.[viii]

The man who can drive himself further once the effort gets painful is the man who will win. [ix]

Winning is not a sometime thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.[x] The only yardstick for success our society has is being a champion. No one remembers anything else. [xi] It is impossible to win the race unless you venture to run, impossible to win the victory unless you dare to battle.[xii] Winners have simply formed the habit of doing things losers don't like to do.[xiii]
