Plan

A good plan today is better than a perfect plan tomorrow.[i]

There is nothing that cannot be achieved by firm imagination.[ii] If you have a dream, give it a chance to happen.[iii] There is no such thing as no chance.[iv] A wise man turns chance into good fortune.[v] Nothing important was ever achieved without someone taking a chance.[vi] All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination.[vii] If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.[viii]

Developing the plan is actually laying out the sequence of events that have to occur for you to achieve your goal.[ix] Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now.[x] Reduce your plan to writing. The moment you complete this, you will have definitely given concrete form to the intangible desire.[xi]

Do you want to be safe and good, or do you want to take a chance and be great?[xii] Few people have any next; they live from hand to mouth without a plan, and are always at the end of their line.[xiii] Thoroughness characterizes all successful men. Genius is the art of taking infinite pains. All great achievement has been characterized by extreme care, infinite painstaking, even to the minutest detail.[xiv] In the long run, men hit only what they aim at. Therefore, though they should fail immediately, they had better aim at something high.[xv] It takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan.[xvi] You can never plan the future by the past.[xvii]

Always plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark.[xviii] By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.[xix]

Before beginning, plan carefully.[xx] Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with that plan.[xxi] The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.[xxii] A good plan is like a road map: it shows the final destination and usually the best way to get there.[xxiii] The wise man bridges the gap by laying out the path by means of which he can get from where he is to where he wants to go.[xxiv] Somewhere there is a map of how it can be done.[xxv]

The best we can do is size up the chances, calculate the risks involved, estimate our ability to deal with them, and then make our plans with confidence.[xxvi] Always have a plan, and believe in it. Nothing happens by accident.[xxvii]

There is no chance, no destiny, no fate, that can hinder or control the firm resolve of a determined soul.[xxviii] Plan your work for today and every day, then work your plan.[xxix] If you have accomplished all that you have planned for yourself, you have not planned enough.[xxx]

He who chooses the beginning of a road chooses the place its leads to. It is the means that determine the end.[xxxi]

You are the person who has to decide. Whether you'll do it or toss it aside; You are the person who makes up your mind. Whether you'll lead or will linger behind. Whether you'll try for the goal that's afar. Or just be contented to stay where you are.[xxxii] Man’s power of choice enables him to think like an angel or a devil, a king or a slave. Whatever he chooses, mind will create and manifest.[xxxiii] Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.[xxxiv]

I believe that we are solely responsible for our choices, and we have to accept the consequences of every deed, word, and thought throughout our lifetime.[xxxv] It's choice - not chance - that determines your destiny.[xxxvi]

Your life is the sum result of all the choices you make, both consciously and unconsciously. If you can control the process of choosing, you can take control of all aspects of your life. You can find the freedom that comes from being in charge of yourself.[xxxvii] How you choose to respond each moment to the movie of life determines how you see the next frame, and the next, and eventually how you feel when the movie ends.[xxxviii]

Look for your choices, pick the best one, then go with it.[xxxix] Start with what is right rather than what is acceptable.[xl] It is always your next move.[xli]

It's not a matter of can or cannot, it's a matter of will or will not, everything is a choice, choose wisely.[xlii] If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.[xliii]
