Imagination

Imagination is the beginning of creation. You imagine what you desire; you will what you imagine; and at last you create what you will.[i]

Greatness is not in where we stand, but in what direction we are moving. We must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it – but sail we must and not drift, not lie at anchor.[ii]

First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination.[iii] We are what we imagine ourselves to be.[iv]

I have about concluded that wealth is a state of mind, and that anyone can acquire a wealthy state of mind by thinking rich thoughts.[v] Just as your car runs more smoothly and requires less energy to go faster and farther when the wheels are in perfect alignment, you perform better when your thoughts, feelings, emotions, goals, and values are in balance.[vi] If constructive thoughts are planted positive outcomes will be the result. Plant the seeds of failure and failure will follow.[vii] When thought becomes excessively painful, action is the finest remedy. [viii]

A man, as a general rule, owes very little to what he is born with - a man is what he makes of himself.[ix] The only limitation is your imagination.[x] Our aspirations are our possibilities.[xi] Live out of your imagination instead of out of your memory.[xii]

Anyone who thinks the sky is the limit, has limited imagination.[xiii] The man who has no imagination has no wings.[xiv]  Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere.[xv]

The problems of the world cannot possibly be solved by skeptics or cynics whose horizons are limited by the obvious realities. We need men who can dream of things that never were.[xvi]  Imagination decides everything.[xvii] Imagination rules the world.[xviii]

Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try![xix]

The imagination is never governed, it is always the ruling and divine power.[xx] The human race is governed by its imagination.[xxi] Everything you can imagine is real.[xxii]  The great successful men of the world have used their imagination they think ahead and create their mental picture in all its details, filling in here, adding a little there, altering this a bit and that a bit, but steadily building - steadily building.[xxiii]  Imagination is not a talent of some men but is the health of every man.[xxiv] To imagine the unimaginable is the highest use of the imagination.[xxv]

A mediocre idea that generates enthusiasm will go further then a great idea that inspires no one.[xxvi]
